Por esta raz\u00f3n, esta celebraci\u00f3n est\u00e1 rodeada de tradiciones y s\u00edmbolos muy especiales. El domingo de Pascua los cristianos celebramos lo que est\u00e1 al centro de nuestra fe: \u00a1Jesucristo venci\u00f3 la muerte y Resucit\u00f3! Este es un mensaje de amor sin igual que nos llena de esperanza. A nosotros nos llama a pasar de la oscuridad a la luz, del odio al amor, del ego\u00edsmo a la fraternidad, del aislamiento a la comunidad, de la tristeza a la alegr\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Textbody\">Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 tiene que ver esta experiencia de la fiesta cristiana con los huevos de chocolate, el conejo de Pascua y el almuerzo familiar? Dejando de lado el consumismo, estos s\u00edmbolos y tradiciones tienen significados.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Textbody\"><span class=\"StrongEmphasis\">P\u00e9saj y Pascua. <\/span>La palabra Pascua viene del hebreo \u00abpersach\u00bb, que significa \u00abpasaje, salto\u00bb. En la celebraci\u00f3n de la P\u00e9saj, la \u00abPascua jud\u00eda\u00bb, los jud\u00edos conmemoran el fin de la esclavitud en Egipto y el \u00abpaso\u00bb, conducido por Mois\u00e9s, a la libertad de la Tierra Prometida. Es la fiesta de la alianza de Dios con los hijos de Israel, su pueblo. La Pascua cristiana celebra una nueva alianza, no solo con un pueblo elegido, sino con todos los que buscan la salvaci\u00f3n. En la tradici\u00f3n jud\u00eda, el cordero tiene un significado importante, como muestra el Antiguo Testamento. Cuando Fara\u00f3n se niega a liberar a los hebreos, Dios env\u00eda siete plagas, la \u00faltima de las cuales es la muerte del primog\u00e9nito. Se salvan las familias que, amonestadas por Mois\u00e9s, sacrifican un cordero (un animal sin defecto ni mancha) y marcan las puertas de las casas con su sangre. Jesucristo, que no ten\u00eda mancha ni pecado, fue sacrificado en la Cruz para nuestra salvaci\u00f3n, y por lo tanto es identificado como el cordero de Dios.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Textbody\"><span class=\"StrongEmphasis\">El huevo.<\/span> Este s\u00edmbolo tambi\u00e9n se remonta a las tradiciones precristianas de la Pascua. El huevo simboliza el nacimiento y la nueva vida, as\u00ed que en algunas civilizaciones antiguas, los huevos eran parte de la celebraci\u00f3n de ese per\u00edodo.
